At International Action, we are a hands-on organization. We are in the field working side-by-side with local community leaders to ensure a continued relationship of good will exists between IA and the people of the area. This friendly and effective relationship has been life changing for both sides while bringing clean water and smiles to many.
A study has been commissioned for January of 2017 to identify current water needs within the Dessalines commune of the Artibonite department and to inform us where additional sustainable water sources might be developed that will benefit the most people with both potable water (drinkable water) and water for agricultural usage.
New to the Crew
In 2016, we added new board member Larry E. Newman, P.E., to the team. A professional engineer with over 40 years of civil engineering experience, (19 of those years working in Haiti), Larry brings an acute awareness of what most effectively works in the Haitian culture and has dedicated his career to helping enrich the lives of Haiti’s most destitute people. Larry is a much needed and welcome addition to our team.
