In the midst of preparing many IDP camps for the rainy season in Haiti, International Action was contacted by a NGO working directly will internally displaced person camps in Carrefour. Action Humanitaire is an organization helping the residents of Camp Wouj Tapis, an IDP camp with 13,000 residents that lack access to safe water and food.

Action Humanitaire notified us of the desperate need for chlorine tablets for the camp. We responded quickly and delivered a bucket of our chlorinator tablets to ensure that the people of Wouj Tapis would have clean, safe water to drink. We are thrilled to be helping such a fantastic organization. Action Humanitaire has sought out our aid before; we assisted them with chlorine deliveries and technical support for addressing the cholera outbreak of last year.
