This month the residents of Port-au-Prince are suffering from important water shortages. In an effort to relieve them Dalebrun Esther and our team of plumbers have been going around the poorest neighborhoods of the capital on a rotating basis and supplying the population with clean, safe water; this prevents unsafe behaviors such as using water from contaminated rivers for drinking, cooking and bathing.

CAMEP — the Central Metropolitan Water Agency — recently installed 7 water towers in Delmas 30. They directly requested help from International Action. On Monday December 15, Dalebrun and his team started the installation of seven chlorinators for the new water towers. 50,000 residents of Delmas 30 will receive clean, safe and reliable drinking water from CAMEP and International Action by December 20: the perfect Christmas gift and a gift of hope for the New Year!
